The sequel to the Rowan and the Travelers is truly the sequel.
The story is about Rowan, Strong Jonn, and Rowan's mother going on a quest to the coast to the city of Maris. To assign the new Keeper of The Crystal. The Keeper must maintain order and harmony between the 3 clans of Maris-the Fisk,Umbray, and the Pandellis clans. Each time the Keeper dies a candidate from each clan comes to The Island near Maris to undergo mental tests to be worthy of the title of the Keeper. Now when Rowan's mother-Jiller- is poisoned, the blame rests on one of the candidates. Still Rowan must decide the Keeper and find the anditote to cure the deadly poison.
Mistrust and anger are the main inhabitants of Rowan's mind as he tries to adhere to the law of the Maris while breaking them as well...
Will Rowan be able to find the antidote and assign the new Keeper before it is too late and the Maris, Rin, and the Traveler folk be doomed forever from their arch-enemies, the Zebak
