This is one of my favorite series of all time. Ever since my 4Th-grade teacher introduced it to me, I tentatively read some books and saw I cherished it so much. Now this mystery was the last one I finished in the saga.
The mystery is about someone or something that was wrecking the Emerson Hicky Elementary School.
It is up to Chet to find it out before it does anymore damage, not to mention the dozen donuts if he captures the violater.
This series focuses on the comedy and the mystery at the same time. There are countless wisecracks and similes relating to animals that it will make you giggle with delight. The names are also funny, look at this example: Erik Nidd, now say it really fast and you will say Arachnid. So the creature (and bully) is spider.
Chet Gecko is a funny delinquent who hates studying and enjoys bringing criminals to justice..for a fee of course.
His mockingbird partner Natalie Attired uses her brains and little of her detecting skills to assist Chet.
The mystery takes many turns and phases that you might get confused when you find out who the culprit is!
